Adamantia unveil “Monte Calvario” — a dark and epic new single from the upcoming album “Evangelium”

Spanish symphonic metal band Adamantia have released a new single titled “Monte Calvario”, which marks the third preview from their forthcoming album “Evangelium”. The release continues the conceptual narrative of the record and further increases anticipation for what is shaping up to be one of the band’s most significant works in recent years.

“Monte Calvario” was released digitally in December 2025 and presents a large-scale composition with a running time of approximately seven minutes. The band remain faithful to their signature sound, combining symphonic metal, an epic atmosphere and emotionally driven storytelling. The single is now available on all major streaming platforms and follows the previously released tracks “El Iniciado” and “Iscariote”, the latter featuring guest vocals by Isra Ramos.

The song’s title refers to Calvary, the site of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In “Monte Calvario”, Adamantia explore the final moments of Christ’s earthly life, conveying his inner struggle, pain and spiritual tension. This theme fits seamlessly into the broader concept of “Evangelium”, which is conceived as a unified musical and narrative work inspired by biblical and existential motifs.

The single features performances by all current members of the band: vocalist Manuel Soler, guitarist and orchestrations author Fran Soler, bassist Juan Peyres, and drummer Juan Lahuerta. Musically, the track stands out for its dense sound, multilayered arrangements and expressive dynamics that underline the dramatic nature of the subject matter.

Based in Murcia, Adamantia continue to steadily develop their presence on the European metal scene, focusing on conceptual depth, technical precision and emotional intensity. The gradual release of singles allows listeners to immerse themselves step by step in the atmosphere of the upcoming album.

The full-length album “Evangelium” is scheduled for release in 2026. In addition to digital formats, the band plan to issue physical editions, underlining their commitment to the album as a complete artistic statement. The release of “Monte Calvario” confirms Adamantia’s ambitious vision and offers a clear insight into the scope and mood of their forthcoming work.
