Tan Biónica in Madrid: Argentine Pop Rock with a Distinctive Sound
Madrid will welcome Tan Biónica, the Argentine band known for combining memorable pop melodies, rock energy and electronic arrangements. The group will perform at Live Las Ventas as part of its concert tour associated with El Regreso, the album that marked its return to releasing original studio material after a decade.
Formed in Buenos Aires in the early 2000s, Tan Biónica features vocalist Santiago “Chano” Moreno Charpentier, Sebastián “Seby” Seoane, Gonzalo “Bambi” Moreno and Diego “Diega” Lichtenstein. Over the years, the band has established a distinctive identity within Argentine pop rock, bringing together melodic songwriting and contemporary electronic influences. This combination remains central to its musical character and has helped define its place in Argentina’s music scene.
The group paused its joint activities in 2016 before reuniting on stage in 2023. That reunion marked the beginning of a new chapter, followed by the release of El Regreso in 2025. The album contains ten original tracks and features collaborations with Airbag, Andrés Calamaro and Nicki Nicole. It represents the band’s return to studio recording and a continuation of its musical development.
The Tan Biónica concert in Madrid offers an opportunity to discover the group’s recent work and its distinctive approach to Spanish-language pop rock. At Live Las Ventas, the band brings its blend of melodic songwriting, rock influences and electronic textures to the Spanish capital. The performance will be of interest to listeners following contemporary Argentine music, as well as audiences drawn to the broader Latin pop rock scene.
