Kelela Brings Her “new avatar live” Tour to Madrid and Barcelona
Kelela will play Madrid and Barcelona: the American singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. has spent more than a decade as one of the key figures in alternative R&B and electronic music. She arrives in Spain on her “new avatar live” tour, presenting her third studio album.
The record “new avatar” was released on July 10, 2026, via Warp Records, following her acclaimed 2023 LP “Raven”. The new material blends shoegaze, indie rock, electronic and grunge sounds, exploring themes of resistance, rage and resilience through the artist’s personal experience.
The concerts will take place on October 22, 2026, in Madrid, at Sala Lab/Wagon, and on October 23, 2026, in Barcelona, at La Paloma — the two Spanish dates of this European leg of the tour.
