Niall Horan Is Coming to Barcelona with the Dinner Party Live on Tour
Niall Horan is heading back to Spain with a new album and a tour built around a more intimate kind of live show. The Irish singer-songwriter has spent the years since One Direction building a solo career on his own terms: Flicker (2017) and its triple-platinum single “Slow Hands”, Heartbreak Weather (2020) — number one in both the UK and the US — and The Show (2023), which topped the same charts and sent him on a world tour that sold over 1.2 million tickets across multiple continents. Add three coaching wins on NBC’s The Voice and a performance at the White House, and the picture is clear: Horan has long since stepped out from the shadow of the band that launched him.
His fourth solo album, Dinner Party, is set for release on June 5, 2026. The concept is rooted in a specific evening that Horan has described as a turning point in his life — a dinner party where he met someone who changed everything that came after. He has said the lead single and title track is about “a really happy and big moment” in his life, and that after writing the song, the words dinner party became the nucleus for the rest of the record. Executive produced by Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, Horan’s longtime collaborators, the album has been described as “cinematic and organic, with songs that play like memories being gently created”. The title track, already out, is quiet and acoustic — a deliberate step toward something more personal than his previous work. The live show leans into stripped-back arrangements, giving more room for storytelling between songs, making the Palau Sant Jordi date feel less like a standard arena show and more like a large-scale listening experience.
Spain gets one night on the tour: October 25, 2026 at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. Start time is 9:15 PM. The show is part of the broader European and UK leg, which runs from September through November.
