Rata Blanca Announces Leyenda Tour 2027: 12 Spanish Shows Marking Four Decades of Rock History
Argentine rock band Rata Blanca will return to Spain with Leyenda Tour 2027, a 12-date run celebrating four decades of the group’s history. The tour will take place from May 13 to May 30, visiting Granada, Seville, Córdoba, Málaga, Oviedo, Valladolid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Girona, Valencia, and Madrid. The opening show is scheduled at Sala Industrial Copera in Granada, with the final performance set for La Riviera in Madrid.
Founded in 1985 by guitarist Walter Giardino and drummer Gustavo Rowek, Rata Blanca has become one of the leading names in Argentine hard rock and heavy metal. Their 1990 album Magos, Espadas y Rosas brought the band international recognition. The record features two of their signature songs, “Mujer Amante” and “La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago, ” both widely regarded as classics of Spanish-language rock.
The band’s sound is defined by Giardino’s virtuosic guitar work and the vocals of Adrián Barilari. Rata Blanca’s latest studio album, Tormenta Eléctrica, was released in 2015. The Spanish dates for Leyenda Tour 2027 have been announced, although an official ticketing platform has yet to be specified.
