No Te Va Gustar in Madrid: Uruguayan Rock and a New Chapter in the Band’s Story
No Te Va Gustar will bring its international tour to Madrid to present Florece en el Caos, the latest studio album from one of Uruguay’s established rock bands. Formed in Montevideo in 1994, the group has spent more than three decades developing a distinctive sound that combines rock with elements of reggae, ska, folk and traditional Uruguayan music.
Released on 8 January 2026, Florece en el Caos is the band’s twelfth studio album. The record marks another stage in NTVG’s musical development, retaining the strong instrumental arrangements and melodic focus that have become part of its identity. Rather than settling into a single formula, the band continues to explore different textures while maintaining a recognisable approach to songwriting.
The No Te Va Gustar concert in Madrid will bring together songs from the new album and established favourites from the group’s back catalogue. Tracks such as “No era cierto”, “No hay dolor”, “A las nueve” and “Cero a la izquierda” have helped introduce the band’s music to audiences across Latin America and beyond.
NTVG’s sound is shaped by energetic rock arrangements, varied rhythms and lyrics rooted in personal experiences and everyday life. Its blend of musical influences gives the songs a distinctive character without losing the central role of rock. This balance has remained an important part of the band’s identity throughout its career.
The performance at Live Las Ventas in Madrid is part of the international tour supporting Florece en el Caos, which takes the Uruguayan group to venues across Europe and Latin America. The concert offers an opportunity to discover the band’s latest material while revisiting songs that have accompanied its audience over the years.
No Te Va Gustar will perform on 1 November 2026 at Live Las Ventas, located at Calle de Alcalá, 237, Madrid. The concert is scheduled to begin at 20:00.
