Arch Enemy bring Lauren Hart to Spain for a rare club show in Vitoria-Gasteiz
Arch Enemy are used to headlining festival main stages and filling arenas. That’s precisely what makes August 5, 2026 so striking: the Swedish melodic death metal band will play the Jimmy Jazz in Vitoria-Gasteiz, one of the north of Spain’s most storied small venues, as part of their deliberately intimate European tour “Back To The Root Of All Evil”. The concept is simple — strip away the productions, get back into clubs, and reconnect with audiences at close range. For a band of Arch Enemy’s stature, a room this size is genuinely unusual, and in Spain it’s essentially unprecedented in their recent history.
The Vitoria date carries extra weight for another reason: it’s one of the first Spanish chances to see Lauren Hart front the band live. Hart, previously the voice of Once Human, was officially unveiled as the successor to Alissa White-Gluz in February 2026, alongside the single “To The Last Breath” — a track that made clear the band’s ferocity and identity remained fully intact under new leadership. Guitarist and founder Michael Amott welcomed her with words rarely used lightly: extraordinary voice, dedication, and the attitude to carry the band’s legacy forward. The current lineup features Hart on vocals, Amott and Joey Concepcion on guitars, Sharlee D’Angelo on bass, and Daniel Erlandsson on drums — the same tight core that has driven the band for years.
The Jimmy Jazz is a Vitoria institution with a long history of heavy live music. Arch Enemy in a room that size, with a new singer making her first real Spanish impression, is the kind of night that fans remember for a long time.
