ARCH ENEMY unveiled the new single “To The Last Breath” and their new vocalist
Swedish band ARCH ENEMY have unveiled their new single “To The Last Breath”, which is already being described as one of the most discussed releases in the world of melodic death metal in 2026. The track marks the band’s first premiere following the departure of vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, who left the lineup in November 2025.
The release of the new song signals an important new chapter in the history of Arch Enemy. It is worth recalling that Alissa White-Gluz joined the band in 2014, replacing Angela Gossow, and recorded several studio albums with the group, significantly expanding its audience. In the fall of 2025, it was announced that the singer decided to focus on her solo career. Later, Angela Gossow publicly denied rumors about a possible return as frontwoman, confirming that she does not plan to resume vocal duties in the band.
Particular attention from fans has been drawn to the question of who performed the vocals on “To The Last Breath.” Several specialized media outlets report that the new vocalist is Lauren Hart, known for her work with the band Once Human. Although ARCH ENEMY have not yet issued a separate official press release formally announcing her appointment, Metal Archives lists Lauren Hart as the vocalist on this release, effectively confirming her participation in the recording.
The recording of “To The Last Breath” features guitarist and founder Michael Amott, drummer Daniel Erlandsson, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo, and guitarist Joey Concepcion. The production was traditionally overseen by members of the band, in line with their creative approach in recent years.
Musically, the new single maintains the trademark ARCH ENEMY sound: aggressive riffs, dynamic solos, a powerful rhythm section, and a combination of extreme vocals with melodic elements. The track is already available on digital streaming platforms and is активно being discussed within the international metal community.
Thus, the release of “To The Last Breath” not only expands the band’s discography but effectively opens a new chapter in the history of ARCH ENEMY. The arrival of a new vocalist and the first material in the updated lineup make 2026 a pivotal year for one of the most influential bands in modern Swedish melodic death metal.
