Siempre Tigre Release Their Debut EP and Prepare for a Major Concert in Alicante

The Spanish band Siempre Tigre, formed in 2025 in the province of Alicante, has released its first record — the debut EP “Siempre Tigre”, which became available on digital platforms on January 23. The self-titled mini-album sums up a series of singles issued over the past year and establishes the group as one of the most notable emerging projects in the region.

The record features five tracks: “Ben Affleck”, “FM”, “Miénteme”, “Para no volver a hablarte”, and “Otro Big Bang”. All songs were self-produced and recorded by Luis J. Montoro, giving the release a cohesive sound and unified aesthetic. The music videos were directed by Miriam Ruiz, continuing the band’s visual identity — a combination of nocturnal imagery, urban energy, and carefully crafted style.

The band gained attention last summer with the release of the single “Ben Affleck”, which defined their signature approach: energetic guitar-driven sound influenced by alternative rock, catchy choruses, and a distinctive visual concept. In their early releases, the musicians appeared wearing balaclavas, reinforcing a sense of anonymity and visual consistency. Among their cited influences are The Hives, Biffy Clyro, and Sexy Zebras, reflected in the dynamic character and live intensity of their songs.

The EP showcases different facets of Siempre Tigre: while “FM” and “Miénteme” lean toward a more direct and rhythm-driven delivery with a danceable pulse, “Para no volver a hablarte” reveals a more melancholic side of the band. The closing track, “Otro Big Bang”, released simultaneously with the EP, brings the record to an energetic peak, emphasizing drive and live performance spirit.

Live performance plays a central role in the band’s strategy. Siempre Tigre made their concert debut on October 11 at Ciudad Oasis as part of Oasis Elche Music Fest (Producciones Baltimore). They later performed in Madrid alongside Nuevo Berlín, officially presenting their EP to the capital’s audience on February 7. The next major milestone will be the Siempre Tigre concert in Alicante, scheduled for February 27 at 22:00 at Sala Stereo, with Martiz joining the lineup. This show will mark the band’s first full hometown performance following the EP release and a key step in promoting their debut material.

The Alicante-based project is steadily building its presence on the independent music scene: consistent single releases, visually cohesive videos, and a strong focus on live shows shape a long-term development strategy. The release of the debut EP Siempre Tigre defines the first chapter of their career while pointing clearly toward future growth.

Amid growing interest in Spain’s new rock scene, the name Siempre Tigre is increasingly appearing on lineups and in regional music coverage. The February 27 concert at Sala Stereo will test how effectively the studio material translates into a full live show — and mark an important step for a young band that confidently emerged in 2025.
