Poppy Returns with New Release: Empty Hands Album Out Now
Today, American singer and songwriter Poppy officially unveiled her new studio album — Empty Hands. The release is her seventh full-length work and is already available on all major streaming platforms, as well as in physical format.
The Poppy — Empty Hands album was released on the Sumerian Records label and is a natural continuation of her previous album, Negative Spaces, released in 2024. Jordan Fish, known for his work with Bring Me The Horizon and Babymetal, handled production once again. Their collaboration continues for the second consecutive release and significantly influences the overall sound of the material.
The album Empty Hands includes 13 tracks, among which the previously released singles Unravel, Bruised Sky, and Guardian are featured. Musically, the release combines elements of alternative metal, industrial, nu-metal, and pop — the genre diversity remains one of Poppy’s key creative signatures.
The album launch coincided with the start of the singer’s world tour — Constantly Nowhere Tour, which began on January 20, 2026, in Australia. At the first concerts, Poppy already performed several new songs from Empty Hands, further increasing fan excitement.
According to music review platforms and critical aggregators, Empty Hands has received mostly positive feedback. Reviewers highlight the confident evolution of her sound, more polished song structures, and the balance between aggressive and melodic elements, which has become one of the release’s strongest features.
In addition to the digital release, Empty Hands is also available in physical editions, including vinyl with exclusive artwork. This has already attracted the attention of collectors and dedicated fans.
The new album confirms Poppy’s status as one of the most unconventional and discussed figures in the modern alternative scene, while Empty Hands firmly consolidates her path toward experimentation and genre freedom.
