Chiquita Movida Releases Alta Vaina: Their First Album Paired with a Cinematic Project
The Spanish music scene welcomes a standout release: Chiquita Movida is preparing to unveil Alta Vaina, their debut full-length album, which will arrive alongside a film created by the band.
After the strong reception of their EP Gastos de Gestión — and a sold-out show at Madrid’s Villanos — the group, formed by Rayden, Mediyama and Skiz Siete on vocals together with Babe, Jhonny and Jona, is once again capturing attention across the scene.
The band has also revealed the album’s official cover. Alta Vaina will be released on February 13, 2026, featuring tracks that build on the identity introduced in their EP: uplifting songs, cuts filled with ironic humor and lyrics that take a sharp, sarcastic look at the music industry. A collection that reinforces Chiquita Movida’s energetic and bold artistic personality.
A Cinematic Debut in Spanish Theaters
Alongside the album, the band will premiere a film in a mockumentary format, exploring the origins of the project. The screening tour will span several Spanish cities from February to March:
17 February — Madrid (Cinesa Príncipe Pío)
18 February — Barcelona (Cinesa Diagonal)
19 February — Valencia (Cinesa Bonaire)
12 March — Santiago de Compostela (Cinesa As Cancelas)
The film offers an intimate look into the world of Chiquita Movida — a group that has burst onto the scene as one of the most exciting and distinctive new acts.
