KISS Release a Collection of Kitchen Knives
The legendary rock band KISS have unveiled a new licensed product — a collection of KISS kitchen knives, created in collaboration with professional kitchen tool manufacturer Dalstrong. The release is timed to coincide with the band’s 50th anniversary and marks another step in the expansion of a brand that has long moved beyond being solely a musical project.
The KISS x Dalstrong collection combines the band’s signature visual aesthetics with a practical approach to kitchen tools. The lineup includes both items designed for everyday use and exclusive pieces aimed at fans of the band and collectors of official merchandise. All products are released under an official KISS license and are accompanied by authentication confirming their legitimacy.
The centerpiece of the collection is the ultra-limited art object Hellfire Demon Axe, inspired by Gene Simmons’ iconic Axe Bass. This piece is designed in the form of a knife-axe and is positioned primarily as a collectible item, symbolically connecting the musician’s stage image with the form of a cutting instrument. It is not intended as a mass-market kitchen accessory but rather as a collector’s piece for fans.
In addition, more practical items are available for purchase. These include a two-piece KISS kitchen knife set, featuring a chef’s knife and a versatile utility knife for precision tasks, as well as a KISS steak knife set decorated with individual graphics dedicated to each band member: The Demon, The Starchild, The Catman, and The Spaceman. These models are designed for regular use while maintaining KISS’s recognizable visual style.
All knives in the KISS Dalstrong series are made from high-carbon German stainless steel X50CrMoV15, a material widely used in professional kitchens. It is known for its corrosion resistance, durability, and ability to retain a sharp edge. The manufacturer specifies a factory sharpening angle of 9–12 degrees per side, ensuring precise and clean cutting performance.
The launch of the KISS kitchen knives fits organically into the band’s long-term strategy, as KISS have spent decades building one of the most extensive licensing ecosystems in the music industry. The KISS brand has long been associated not only with concerts and albums but also with a wide range of official products — from clothing and accessories to everyday household items.
For fans of the band, the new collection represents a rare combination of practical value, premium quality, and iconic rock imagery, while for Dalstrong it provides an opportunity to reach beyond the professional culinary market and attract attention from an audience outside the traditional kitchen tools sector.
